A couple of weeks ago, the time had finally arrived to travel down to the Pere Marquette Lodge near Grafton, IL, for the nuptials of Jessica and Tom. There was just one slight problem: rain. And lots of it! You see, the lodge sits near the banks of where the Illinois and Mississippi rivers merge, and the river had risen precariously close to the Great River Road–just a couple feet from the pavement in some areas, in fact.…

Our last wedding of 2010 happened to be Kristin & Jason, and we’d looked forward to this day for quite some time. They had a simple, elegant ceremony at the home of friends followed by an intimate hors d’oeuvre reception there, as well.…

Our family always celebrates Labor Day in Greenview, IL, at their annual festival and 2010 was no exception, but not before we spent that Saturday with Kelly and Adam and their families to celebrate the biggest day of their lives! We were so happy to be chosen to capture their wedding day and everything–from their incredible wedding party to the flowers to the food–was amazing.…
